Public advised to contact NHS 111 online during this week's junior doctors strike

Members of the public needing non-emergency care during the latest junior doctors strike are being urged to use NHS 111 online during this week's industrial action.
The British Medical Association (BMA) has confirmed a three-day walkout of junior doctors from 7am on Wednesday 14th June to 6.59am on Saturday, 17th June.
Plans in place
Health Trusts across Cheshire and Merseyside are expected to impacted by the strike, but plans are in place to minimise risks and manage disruption.
Urgent and emergency care services will be open and in the event of a life or limb-threatening emergency you should always call 999.
