The Council are required to produce an action due to failing to meet the targets with the Housing Delivery Test. The action plans sets out what the causes are of the failure to deliver and what actions, if any are required.

The Council commissioned an assessment of the demand for Custom Build Homes in the borough. This was approved in September 2015.

The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) is an annual assessment of land suitable for residential development that the Council expects to deliver housing over the next 15 years or more. A 5 year land supply position is the supply of specific deliverable sites sufficient to provide 5 years’ worth of housing against our housing requirement. The Council can demonstrate a supply of specific, deliverable sites for housing equivalent to 8.69 years supply.
